Perisic Backed For Manchester United

Perisic Backed For Manchester United

Ivan Perisic is already at a 'big European club' in the shape of Inter Milan. But we're not big enough for his countryman Dario Simic.

The fact Simic is a former AC Milan player probably means he doesn't acknowledge Inter as a big club.

An exit from the San Siro has been mooted with Perisic potentially leaving Inter in the summer, which if he does Simic has backed him to join Manchester United.

He was quoted by TMW - via Ladbrokes.com - as saying.

'I expected him to leave for a big European club in the last window. He has the class to play at the top. I could see him doing well at Manchester United.'

The 28 year old has impressed for Inter this season but with him under contract unless Perisic wants to leave in the summer - and the price is right - the Nerazzurri aren't going to allow this are we?

Qualification for the Champions League at the end of the season could make a difference between the winger staying and leaving. I wonder if Inter would be a 'big European club' if we're in the top competition in European football and United aren't!
